Bastrop State Park
At the Bastrop State Park campout, all the scouts got to go bicycling around the park. 28 scouts and 8 Adults brought their bikes along and rode the trails. Everyone was to bike at least 16 miles, but most scouts decided to bike 25 miles, instead. There was very good weather over the campout, and most people would like to do it again sometime.
On the second day, after unloading the trailers (One trailer for camping, one for the bikes) everyone rode the whole day, enjoying the great view. Some troubles came along, though, when the scouts had to go up steep hills, most scouts just walking their bikes up.
Overall, the campout turned out great and everyone had a blast biking around the state park.
